Whether you attend for half a day or a full week, whether you shadow staff, talk to patients, get involved with tasks or complete a small project, your time on work experience is never wasted and could lead to a fantastic future career.
Work experience can help to develop new and existing skills, increase confidence, and improve communication skills and the ability to take on responsibility. It can also provide the experience required to support applications for college, university, apprenticeships and NHS careers.
