It was the 5th December 2017. A cold wintery day, although no snow like we have now.
On that date Alison and I spent the day in corporate induction (not very exciting but has to be done) and then went off to meet our stakeholders.
Since then so much has happened. We have spoken to, connected with, supported hundreds of people: NHS professionals, schools, students and local authority.
I have learnt so much I would not know where to start from. One thing I learnt and that I will never forget in my whole life is that "There are over 350 different careers in the NHS and there is a role for everyone with the right skills and values. to edit."
Many of our stakeholders attended our Cheshire Career Hub conference back last month. They helped us shape our future.
It was such an emotional experience, seeing all those like minded people in the same room. All striving to offer better opportunities to all those who wish to pursue a career in health and care.
We have gone a long way since that 5th December, we know it but we would really appreciate it if you could let us have YOUR views so that we can spend a bit of time analysing, evaluating and learning so that we can get increasingly better at what we do.
So here's our Christmas wish: we would really appreciate it if you could provide us with some feedback on the Hub's work so far. We have prepared 5 simple questions https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PP9XLJP but would welcome any comments that would help us work towards the needs of our local area.
Many thanks and Happy New Year to all of you x
